All classes
begin with warm-ups, with developing dance
skills as our focus. We offer the following
classes:
- Preschool (Ballet, Jazz, Tap) -- this
is a ballet, jazz and tap movement class.
Students will be taught proper terminology for
each of the disciplines. We work on balance,
coordination, rhythm and much more.
- Kindergarten (Ballet, Jazz, Tap) --This
class is similar to our Preschool classes.
However, we begin getting more technical with
the movement and how they relate to the
music. Body awareness is also emphasized.
- Combo I (Ballet, Jazz, Tap) -- Now
the student is ready for a more
disciplined class. Body awareness,
posture, alignment, and rhythm are among the
many components of a dance class that are
taught. Students are introduced to a
variety of music. This is all done in a positive
environment.
- Combo I Advanced (Ballet, Jazz) -- This
class is similar to Combo I. The
difference is the amount of experience and
ability. More time is needed to teach more
complicated movements of the disciplines.
- Combo II and High School (Ballet, Jazz) --
Same as Combo I Advanced. These classes
are moving quickly.
- Tap -- Your feet have turned into an
instrument that must accomplish precise
sounds. rhythm, balance, center, precision,
posture, are among the skills taught in our tap
classes.
